Serrations under the head act as a brake to prevent over-tightening and damaging threads. Also known as needlepoint screws, they’re designed with a pointed tip to pierce a starter hole in sheets up to 0.050″ thick.
The combination slotted hex head allows for a secure grip with a slotted screwdriver or 1/4″ socket. Made from steel, zinc plating provides corrosion resistance in wet environments. Length is measured from under the flange. Head height includes the flange.
